Are you sending a tracing?:
YES! I want to assure proper size/shape. Tombstone is responsible for fit to tracing. Tracing will show hole pattern. **************************************
NO. I will be responsible if I choose the wrong size grip. I will measure my gun and compare to the listed specs. If I order a grip that is the wrong size or shape, I agree that it is NOT returnable. *****************************************************
I already mailed a tracing BEFORE I placed this order.

This is a generic grip, of the proper shape for any of the Ruger autoloading pistols styled after the Standard 22, Mark I, Mark II, or Mark III (not the 22/45 styles). It does not have any screw holes or back relief. It is made so you can fit it to ANY of these Rugers yourself.

You can select holes for various models if you wish, but unless you also send a tracing, there is no guarantee that the kind you select actually matches your particular gun, especially if it is a transition model Mark I or Standard. There was no sharp cut-off where one pattern or the other suddenly was in use. There was a period of transition where you might have a post-72 gun with pre-72 frame holes.

extra aged All of the Ruger autoloaders with the "Standard" grip angle use the same outline of grip. The Mark I and early Standard models had the magazine relief notch on the right grip panel bottom, and post-72 Mark I, standard, and all the Mark II and Mark III models have the notch on the left grip. The Mark II and III have additional safety and slide catch relief cuts at the top. The Mark III has a magazine button notch on the left panel.

The Mark II and Mark III use the same hole patterns. The Mark I and standard models produced before about 1972 use a completely different hole pattern from that of the Mark I and standard pistols produced later. The only way that I can put the right hole pattern into the grips is for you to send me a good tracing of your grips, with the holes clearly and accurately marked for left and right panels.

If you do order this grip, and send a tracing, I will be glad to make the holes as shown on your tracing. If you mark "drill holes" but don't mark "I am sending a tracing", all I can do is use the standard spacing that fits my particular gun. If it doesn't fit yours, tough luck! I need that tracing to be able to offer a guarantee (that it fits the tracing pattern of holes as you drew it, not that it fits any particular gun -- if you draw the holes wrong, that's your problem). If any of this isn't agreeable, don't order. I'd rather have a few less orders but all of them happy, than more orders and some of them not happy.

These grips, as shown, are ideal for the person who wants to do a great job of fitting his own grips but wants a good "leg up" with the shape and material color of choice.

If the grips you get don't work for you, you can return them along with a tracing and the return shipping cost, and I will be glad to make another set to match that tracing. But it just seems so much quicker, less trouble, and far less expensive for you to mail the tracing the first time around, and thus avoid a second time around with shipping cost both ways.

Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances.
Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.

If you do not have time to wait then you may want to consider not ordering. I can only produce quality grips if I take the time necessary to finish your order

Be SURE to read the TERMS of SALE page, so you KNOW what you are getting.
