This grip is a long frame, square butt model. It may also fit the Colt Agent, Cobra, Banker's Special, and other longer frame versions which do not require a spacer block below the frame. Be sure to note the grip length and compare to your gun frame size.

Please note: Colt made guns with the same name that had round butts, square butts, long butts, short butts, kinda-round butts... the variations abound. I do NOT know which one you have, but you can measure it, compare it to the grip see if you need a spacer below the frame or not, and then decide which grip will work.

One very important factor is whether or not your existing grips have a spacer below the gun's grip frame or not. The short frame or short butt version usually does have a grip that is longer than the frame, and fills in the space below with a spacer block (or has a raised section on the bottom of both grips, inside, to create the same effect).

These grips do NOT come with a spacer block. I have others that do. If you need that kind of grip, don't order this one! It won't change from what you see listed by the time you unpack it! To avoid getting an incorrect size, just look, measure and compare to the specs listed here and to the picture and description. If this grip has the same dimensions it will work on your gun, and if not, it won't.

The grip dimensions are:

Overall grip height = 3.1 inches
Height to rear "corner" = 3.0 inches
Height to front "corner" = 2.35 inches
Height to screw hole center = 1.35 inches
Width across top "corners" = 1.0 inches
Height of top dome over line between corners = 0.4 inches
Width across screw hole center = 1.3 inches
Width across base at widest portion = 1.5 inches
Width of bottom flat area = 1.2 inches
Front edge to screw hole center = 0.55 inches

How to make sure of the size: make a pencil tracing around your existing grips on 3 x 5 index cards, indicate the screw hole, and send them to me so I can make sure of the shape and size. Let me know if your grips have a spacer block under them, or if they are completely flat across the backside.
