This is the standard size for the 4-inch barrel 1927 .38 Special.
I also have a slightly larger grip for the Python and later,
larger frame models. Please send a pencil tracing from your
existing grips or an index card cut-out that matches your gun
frame just like the grips would. I can use that to determine
which of several versions of the OP would fit your gun.
The Colt official police model grips also fit the Officer's
model and several other similar models. The Official Police
is basically the military .38 Special configured to sell in the civilian
market. It does not fit
the Police Positive (PP) or the Police Positive Special model.
These grips can be equipped with small medallions (1/2 inch)
in the circular top area. You will need to do some sanding and
drill the grip locator hole for the grip pin. The mounting
screw and hardware are installed.
Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances. Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.
