This Colt Peacemaker grip set was patterned after a Pietta SAA 1873 replica, but it may fit a large number of other guns: compare dimensions, or send a tracing to be sure. It is available either as the default 1-piece kit (two panels plus a spacer) or as the screw-mount 2-piece kit (two panels with screw mount installed). The smooth surface works well with pearl and special effects using the translucent polyurethane base epoxy resin. Here are the dimensions to compare with your gun frame: (A) Front top edge length = 0.9 inches (B) Overall height = 3.0 inches (C) Width of base = 2.2 inches (D) Front centerline to rear edge = 1.70 inches (E) Top flat length = 1.2 inches Thickness at the top = about .25 inches Thickness at the base = about .40 inches The screw hole dimensions are entirely up to you. If you want a screw mounted set, tell me how far from the base and how far from the front edge you would like the center of the screw. If you don't indicate these dimensions, then I'll have to use the standard Colt SAA factory screw hole location, which may or may not clear the mainspring on your replica. If you want the 1-piece type of grip (which you make from the 3-piece kit) then of course I don't need a screw hole location. Usually, with Colt clones, it's hard to get a good fit without sending a tracing. You'd think they would all be the same, but they are not. Sometimes even two guns from the same factory with the same model will have slightly different shape or size of grip frame! If these measurements are as large, or larger, than your frame or existing grips, then no problem, you can sand them to exact fit. But if the measurements given here are smaller in any direction than your gun frame, don't order this grip! It won't fit your gun and you can't sand it bigger!
